I feel like whatever I say about the work of David Jien it will only take away from the unfiltered experience. Only so much, the sense that you’re looking at a connected world is true. Jien’s exquisite works on paper unfold a monumental saga of Whoriders and their adversaries, the Lizardmen.

This narrative reflects the eternal human struggle for the right path in life, accompanied by our demons. Jien has found a mesmerizing way to communicate to us what he believes to be true in life.
