I discovered the work of Cliff Briggie by coincidence, or should I say fate. Because a few hours ago I was looking through the pictures of Jonathan McCabe once more. The resemblance is striking. The medium couldn’t be more different. I don’t exactly understand Briggie’s technique but I don’t need to lift this secret. I just gaze into unfolding space.

Remember, these photographs capture a split second of a transient state. This is not dry paint on a canvas. The artist also talks about his work and I recommend to read it here.
