How do I want to live?
I ask myself a lot these days, how to bring my conduct of life in accordance with my ideals? How do I contribute to the unfolding of our potentials instead of causing more problems? On this quest, I meet people who choose a self-paced life away from the cities, willing to abandon lifestyles based on performance, efficiency and consumption.

French photographer Antoine Bruy spent five years on this quest traveling throughout Europe and USA to portray people who renounced the world of industrialized comfort completely to create simple utopias of autonomy. Unstable but on the pulse of life as it flows in seasons and lunar cycles.
