Robert Beatty is a musician and visual artist from Kentucky.
His artworks are exceptionally peculiar and seem impossible to pin down. Although the pre-digital style hints to sci-fi illustrations from the 70s, you are left with an uncanny uncertainty. And that’s exactly the feeling he wants to invoke by not giving too much away. “I really like not telling people what something is, or how to think about it,” he says. “I don’t like having an artist’s statement — I want the work to speak for itself and let people make their own interpretations.”
