Richard Evans Schultes
Father of modern ethnobotany

Lately I read the Yage letters by William S. Burroughs and Allen Ginsberg. I wasn’t able to get over my dislike towards Burroughs but I came across another name: Richard Evans Schultes.

His heritage is carried on by some of his scholars like Wade Davis. His TED talk is a good introduction to ethno-diversity and the ancient knowledge we’re about to lose forever.
