From my point of view these 3D animations of mandelbrot sets provide the picture of the ultimate microscope that will never be invented — but in our own conciousness. To me it’s a very effective way of getting a glimpse of infinity which is all around us. It’s not about the foolish search for the smallest particle or the most distant planet. It’s all in you.
